  • Growing up in Cambridge in the shadows of Harvard, music became a life-long passion that began at the age of nine.  Starting out as a horn player and after mastering that, the urge to be a drummer took over.  Soon Ray was performing with numerous bands in the Boston area as drummer, lead singer and front man.

  • Some years later the guitar came calling, offering more flexibility and creativity. Not exactly Chet Atkins back then, (or now), cover material came first and writing a few originals slowly followed. Performed in clubs and at weddings in New England and New York until a busy career, life and family took precedence.

  • After finishing a long and successful career in sales that included a hiatus from playing and writing, most of Ray's time is now devoted to music. Writing, performing and recording are now his #1 priority and passion.

  • Currently performs more than 250 covers, including songs from the past 40 years, the great American Songbook of Standards, Classics and many of today's current hits.

  • Songs range from iconic to brand new and often include a personal twist that utilizes his strong vocals and unique style that can easily go from smooth to raucous.

  • A prolific songwriter who over the past few years has written more than 75 originals with topics that focus on the human condition, both good and bad while also including a few songs that are just meant to be fun.

  • Musical influences include:  The Beatles, The Zombies, Van Morrison, Joe Cocker, Elton John, Ray Charles, Crowded House (Finn), and a host of others too numerous to mention.

  • Performs at clubs, private and local events and benefits throughout New England .

  • Venues include: The Brick House in Hillsborough, NH [In residence every Friday for 2 1/2 years], Marina Bay, Peregrine's Landing, The Gables, Sunrise, Tew-Mac Tavern and The Fireside

Available for Coffee Houses, Restaurants/Bars, clubs, private or public events, house concerts and charity functions.
